The Animal Welfare Officer Skill Set provides the knowledge and practical skills required to support animal welfare outcomes within the Australian meat processing industry. The program combines workplace-based practical training with supported theory to develop competency in line with industry and legislative requirements.
Entry requirements
Applicants should:
Be employed or have access to a suitable meat processing workplace.
Have access to a computer or mobile device with internet access.
Demonstrate suitable language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for eligible applicants.
